Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of beef: Flank steak, skirt steak, or hanger steak are all good options for stir-fries, as they are tender and flavorful.
  • Slice the beef thinly against the grain: This will help it cook quickly and evenly.
  • Marinate the beef: Marinating the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, rice wine, and spices will help to tenderize it and add flavor.
  • Use a hot wok or skillet: A hot wok or skillet will help to sear the beef and prevent it from sticking.
  • Cook the beef in batches: Don't overcrowd the wok or skillet, or the beef will not cook evenly.
  • Add the vegetables last: Vegetables cook quickly, so add them to the wok or skillet last.
  • Stir-fry the vegetables until they are tender-crisp: Do not overcook the vegetables, or they will become mushy.
  • Serve the stir-fry immediately: Stir-fries are best served hot and fresh.
