Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup catsup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
4 lbs. beef ribs

Steps:

  • 1. Mix vinegar, honey, Worcestershire, catsup, salt, mustard, paprika, pepper and garlic in a pan. Cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Place ribs in a single layer in baking pan, cover with hot marinade and let stand for 1 hour. Drain off marinade, then bake ribs at 325 for 1 hour, turning and basting often with marinade.
  • 2. Serves 6

Tips:

  • Use a Dutch oven or large pot with a tight-fitting lid to ensure the pork ribs cook evenly and stay moist.
  • Choose pork ribs that are meaty and have a good amount of marbling for more flavor and tenderness.
  • Brown the pork ribs in a pan before adding them to the Dutch oven to enhance their flavor and create a delicious caramelization.
  • Use a variety of spices and herbs to create a flavorful rub for the pork ribs, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, chili powder, and brown sugar.
  • Let the pork ribs marinate in the rub for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
  • Use a combination of apple cider vinegar and chicken broth to create a flavorful liquid for braising the pork ribs. The apple cider vinegar helps to tenderize the meat while the chicken broth adds richness and depth of flavor.
  • Bring the liquid to a boil before reducing the heat to low and simmering the pork ribs for 1-2 hours, or until the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender.
  • Make a sticky sauce by combining brown sugar, ketchup, honey, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan and simmering until thickened. Brush the sauce over the pork ribs during the last 15 minutes of cooking to create a caramelized glaze.
  • Serve the Sticky Bones with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or roasted vegetables.

Conclusion:

Sticky Bones is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a casual dinner or party. The combination of fall-off-the-bone tender pork ribs and a sweet and tangy sauce is sure to be a hit with everyone.
