1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons spiced rum or dark rum

1 cup golden raisin
1 cup golden brown sugar (packed)

1 1/4 lbs ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 small red onion
4 garlic cloves
1 green bell pepper
1 large jalapeno pepper (or serrano)
2 cups beef stock
1/4 cup dark rum
1/4 cup sliced green olives
3 medium tomatoes
2 tablespoons fresh grated ginger (or 1/2 tsp ground)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons lime juice (fresh is best)
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (or parsley)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts
