Tips for Baking the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Use High-Quality Ingredients: Opt for good-quality chocolate chips, unsalted butter, and pure vanilla extract. Fresh, room-temperature ingredients yield the best results. - Chill the Dough: Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much. - Don't Overmix the Dough: Overmixing can result in tough cookies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined. - Use a Cookie Scoop: A cookie scoop ensures uniform cookie sizes and helps prevent over-spreading. - Bake at the Right Temperature: Bake the cookies at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set. - Let the Cookies Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Conclusion
