Cook the Spaghetti Properly: Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, but make sure to cook it al dente, or slightly firm. This will prevent it from becoming mushy when mixed with the sauce. 3. Use a flavorful Sauce: The sauce is the star of this dish, so make sure you have a flavorful and well-seasoned sauce. You can use a store-bought sauce or make your own homemade sauce. 4. Add the Right Toppings: The toppings are what really make this dish special. You can add a variety of toppings, such as pulled pork, brisket, sausage, or chicken. You can also add vegetables, such as onions, peppers, or mushrooms. 5. Serve Immediately: Southern barbecue spaghetti is best served immediately, while the spaghetti is still hot and the sauce is still bubbling.
