Tips:

  • Use room temperature ingredients. This will help the batter to emulsify properly and result in a more tender, moist cake.
  • Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in a tough, dense cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Grease and flour the bundt pan thoroughly. This will help the cake to release easily from the pan.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Do not overbake, or the cake will be dry.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack. This will help to prevent the cake from sticking to the pan.
  • Dust the cake with powdered sugar or drizzle it with glaze before serving. This will add a touch of sweetness and elegance.
