1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the 1/3 cup sugar and the cinnamon and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the 1/2 cup butter and cream cheese on medium-high speed for 30 seconds.
  • Add the 1 cup sugar and baking powder.
  • Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Mix in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer and stir in any remaining flour by hand.
