4 pounds frozen chicken wings
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
⅛ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
hickory wood chips
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce, or as needed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Place chicken wings on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

3 to 4 pounds chicken wings
2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce
4 cloves garlic, grated
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Remove tips from chicken wings and discard. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir until smooth, and divide the mixture in half. Put the chicken and half of the sauce in a resealable plastic bag, shake to coat well and place in the refrigerator from 3 hours to overnight. Reserve the remaining sauce in the refrigerator until ready to serve with wings.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place skin side down, in a shallow flameproof baking dish. Discard marinade. Bake for 50 minutes, flipping over half way through baking. Increase heat to broil and broil wings until crisped, about 3 minutes. Serve immediately with reserved dipping sauce.

1/4 cup canola oil
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1-1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
WINGS:
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
30 frozen chicken wingettes, thawed
