Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients prepped and measured. This will help the cooking process go smoothly.
  • Use Fresh Ingredients: Whenever possible, use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Fresh herbs, vegetables, and spices will make a big difference in the taste of your dish.
  • Cook the Meatballs Thoroughly: Make sure the meatballs are cooked all the way through before adding them to the gravy. You can check by inserting a meat thermometer into the center of a meatball. It should read 165°F (74°C).
  • Simmer the Gravy: Simmering the gravy for a while will help to develop the flavors and thicken it up. If you're short on time, you can also use a cornstarch slurry to thicken the gravy.
