This recipe is adapted from a submission by Sharon Roth in the Fairplay Wilderness Camp School cookbook in Westminster, SC. My son Anthony attended the camp from 2000-2002. These are great taken on camping and fishing trips as they keep well once cooled.

Steps:
- Mix all of the ingredients in order, in a large bowl and stir until well combined.
- Let pretzels stand for atleast three or four hours, stirring every hour or so from the bottom to make sure that the topping doesn't settle on the bottom of the bowl before it has "dried". Depending on the weather and humidity, it could take up to a day, just stir the mix every couple of hours. You could also put the mix in large ziplock baggies and shake it up instead of stirring if that is easier.
- Store in an air-tight container.

Steps:
- 1. put pretzels in a large container that seals well
- 2. Mix all other ingredents together
- 3. pour over the pretzels and leave on counter for 2 days. Stir occasionally. Pretzels need time to absorbe the mixture ENJOY~!!!! these freeze very well!!!
Tips:
- Use high-quality pretzels. The better the pretzels, the better the seasoned pretzels will be. Look for pretzels that are fresh, crispy, and have a good flavor.
- Experiment with different seasonings. There are endless possibilities when it comes to seasoning pretzels. You can use anything from simple salt and pepper to more complex blends of herbs and spices. Get creative and have fun!
- Be careful not to over-season the pretzels. A little bit of seasoning goes a long way. If you add too much, the pretzels will be too salty or spicy.
- Store the seasoned pretzels in an airtight container. This will help them stay fresh and crispy for longer.
