1 pound ground beef
1-1/3 cups salsa
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 tablespoon brown sugar
8 hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. Stir in salsa, soup and brown sugar. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until heated through. Serve on buns. Freeze option: Cool and place in a freezer container; freeze up to 3 months. To use, thaw beef mixture in refrigerator; place in a saucepan and heat through. Serve on buns.

1 c salsa (store bought or homemade)
1 can(s) (10-3/4oz) condensed tomato soup
1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 pkg hamburger buns

Steps:

  • 1. brown meat in a skillet over medium heat, season with salt and pepper. add the salsa, condensed soup and brown sugar.
  • 2. stir well to combine. simmer for 10 minutes. serve on hamburger buns.
