You might want to add just a touch more oil and vinegar if you add more onions. Enjoy! From Outrageous Recipes.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, flavorful peppers: The quality of your peppers will greatly impact the taste of your vinaigrette. Look for peppers that are firm and brightly colored, with no blemishes or bruises.
  • Roast the peppers before using them: Roasting the peppers will help to bring out their sweetness and flavor. You can roast them in the oven or on a grill.
  • Use a good quality balsamic vinegar: The balsamic vinegar is another key ingredient in this vinaigrette. Look for a vinegar that is aged for at least 12 years, as this will give it a more complex flavor.
  • Whisk the vinaigrette together thoroughly: This will help to emulsify the oil and vinegar and create a smooth, creamy dressing.
  • Taste the vinaigrette before using it: Adjust the seasonings to your liking. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or garlic powder.
  • Use the vinaigrette within 2 weeks: The vinaigrette will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. However, the flavor will be best if you use it within a week.

Conclusion:

Red pepper balsamic vinaigrette is a delicious and versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of salads, roasted vegetables, and grilled meats. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy way to add some flavor to your meals, give this red pepper balsamic vinaigrette a try!
