Winter Delight Stew image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pound bulk Italian sausage
4 cups chopped cabbage
2 cups sliced fresh carrots
2 medium potatoes, chopped
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups beef or chicken broth
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup tomato juice
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • In an ovenproof Dutch oven, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. , Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 350° for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until vegetables are tender.
