Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb extra wide noodles
4 Tbsp butter or margarine
1/2 c sour cream
2 dash(es) fresh ground mixed pepper
1 dash(es) fresh ground white pepper
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped, or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Steps:

  • 1. Cook the noodles according to package. When they are cooked the way you like, drain noodles, letting them sit in the colander in the sink for a minute or two.
  • 2. While noodles are draining, put butter in the same pot and let it start to melt a little.
  • 3. Add noodles back to pot and mix with the butter, until the butter is melted and noodles are coated.
  • 4. Lightly salt and pepper the noodles, mixing gently, then add sour cream and thoroughly combine. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5. Mix in parsley and serve.

I'm not a big fan of sour cream, so I substituted Greek yogurt instead. It turned out great! The sauce was still creamy and flavorful, but it wasn't as tangy.

This dish is a great way to use up leftover noodles. I usually make a big batch of noodles on the weekend and then use them to make this dish during the week.

This dish is so easy to make and it's always a hit with my friends. I like to serve it with a side salad and some crusty bread.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my noodles turned out really gummy. The sauce was also a bit too thin. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

Overall, I thought this dish was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. I might try it again with some different seasonings.

This dish was a bit bland for my taste. I think it could have used more seasoning. I also found that the noodles were a bit too soft.

I've made this dish several times now and it's always a favorite. The noodles are always cooked perfectly and the sauce is rich and creamy. I like to add a bit of garlic powder and onion powder to the sauce for extra flavor.

I love how simple this dish is to make. It's perfect for a weeknight meal when I don't have a lot of time to cook. The noodles and sauce are always a crowd-pleaser.

This dish was absolutely delicious! The noodles were cooked perfectly and the butter and sour cream sauce was rich and flavorful. I added some chopped fresh parsley and a sprinkle of paprika for a bit of extra flavor. It was a quick and easy meal to
