White Trash / Redneck Breakfast image

Sometime back there was a topic in CC, ( Community Cafe ) about " White Trash/ Redneck Comfort Foods ". I decided to try to come up with a recipe that fit that topic. I think with this recipe it fits the topic very well. Thanks to Kim for Recipe#63684, which the potato part of the recipe is based on. Even if your not " White Trash or Redneck " I think you might like this. But don't eat it too often, or you jest might catch yor' ;) self talkin' like Jeff Foxworthy.Submitted to " ZAAR " on January 3,2010

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover mashed potatoes. I added some chopped onion and garlic to the gravy and it was even better. I will definitely be making this again.

I tried this recipe and it was a disaster. The biscuits were dry and the gravy was lumpy. I don't recommend this recipe.

I'm not a big fan of gravy, but the biscuits in this recipe were so good that I didn't even mind. They were light and fluffy, and they had a great flavor.

I'm a vegetarian, so I made this recipe with vegan sausage and it turned out great! The gravy was especially flavorful.

This recipe was a bit too rich for my taste. The biscuits were a bit dry and the gravy was a bit too thick. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.
