Weight Watcher Onion Rings image

found this in a womans world magazine, they looked good and thought I'd share. they are 2 points a serving, which is this whole recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 large onion, peeled, sliced 1/2 inch slices
1/2 c fiber one bran cereal, original flavor
salt and spices to taste
1/4 c liquid egg substitute

Steps:

  • 1. preheat oven to 375
  • 2. put cereal in food processor and grind to crumbs, add seasonings.
  • 3. one by one coat each ring, first with egg, then cereal mixture
  • 4. evenly place on non-stick cooking sheet and bake 20 - 25 minutes flipping rings halfway thru cooking time.
  • 5. 1 serving, equals 153 calories, 9 g protein 1 g. fat chol. 1 mg carbs 41 g. fiber 16 g, 2 weight watcher points
