This chili is a bit bland for my taste. I added a teaspoon of chili powder and a pinch of cayenne pepper to give it more flavor.

I'm allergic to tomatoes, so I substituted tomato sauce with a can of diced tomatoes with green chilies. It turned out great!

This chili is so versatile. I've served it over rice, pasta, and even baked potatoes. It's also great as a soup or stew.

I made this chili in my slow cooker and it turned out perfect. I just threw all the ingredients in the pot in the morning and dinner was ready when I got home from work.

This chili is a great way to use up leftover lentils. I always have a bag of lentils in my pantry, so it's easy to whip up a batch of this chili whenever I need a quick and easy meal.

This chili was a bit too spicy for me, but my husband loved it. I think next time I'll use less cayenne pepper.
