Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

6 -8 tilapia fillets (thawed)
7 tablespoons mayonnaise (I prefer the real mayo, like a Hellman's brand)
7 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
3 teaspoons seasoning salt
cooking spray

Steps:

  • lay all the fillets on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • combine the remainder of the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
  • using a butter knife or spoon, spread the sauce over each fillet evenly.
  • bake in the oven at 425 Degrees for 9 - 11 minutes or until it easily flakes.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my tilapia came out terrible. It was dry and the sauce was curdled.

This is the worst tilapia recipe I have ever tried. The fish was dry and the sauce was bland.

This recipe is a waste of time. The tilapia was mushy and the mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese sauce was greasy.

I followed the recipe exactly and my tilapia came out dry and overcooked. I think I will try it again with a lower cooking temperature.

This recipe is a bit too rich for my taste. I think I would prefer it with a lighter sauce.

I'm not sure why this recipe is called 'tilapia with mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese'. The mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese are just a small part of the dish. The tilapia is the star of the show.
