Number Of Ingredients 6

1 large lemon wedge
coarse salt (for rim)
2 oz reposado or blanco (silver) tequila made from 100% agave
1 oz cointreau orange liqueur
1 oz orange juice
1/4 oz lime juice

Steps:

  • 1. Chill margarita glass in fridge or freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. Rub rim with lemon wedge, then turn glass upside down and coat rim in coarse salt.
  • 2. Shake the tequila, contreau, orange juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker, and pour into the chilled glass.
  • 3. Float the lemon wedge on top of the cocktail, and serve.
