Spicy Pretzels image

Our son found this recipe in his recipe box and he had never fixed it so he brought the pretzels over along with the popping and topping oil and made up a batch for us to share with him. They are very spicy and really make a nice snack. If you want to tone the spicy down use less cayenne. We used the full amount and loved it. ...

3 lb pretzels
2 Tbsp garlic powder
3 tsp lemon pepper
2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 pkg dry ranch dressing mix
1 bottle orville redenbacher's popping and topping oil

Steps:

  • 1. Place pretzels in a kitchen size plastic garbage bag.
  • 2. Mix all the spices together in a bowl and sprinkle over the pretzels.
  • 3. Pour 1 (16 oz) bottle of the popping and topping oil over the pretzels, close the bag and shake. Let sit for 12 hours shaking every couple of hours.
  • 4. The finished pretzels will fill 4 gallon size zip lock bags. Enough for yourself and some to give away.
