Sour Cream Bran Muffins image

In the early 1980's my family and I found some relatives we had never met in TN,one of my cousins and I shared many recipes until her death.This is one of her many recipes.I have not made this recipe but all of her recipes I've tried have been very good.She was an excellent cook.She's was over eighty years old,in a wheel chair...

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 c. butter or margarine,softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg,beaten
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. molasses
1 c. raisins
1 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1 c. bran cereal

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 deg. Cream butter and sugar.Add egg,sour cream and molasses.Combine raisins and dry ingredeints.Combine with creamed ingrdients,mix just until blended.Bake 15 mins.
