Quick and Easy..this is a good casserole for any time of the year. Handed down from my stepmother..

Steps:
- 1. Boil uncooked brown or white rice. Brown slivered almonds in butter. Butter a 9x11 glass casserole dish
- 2. When rice is finished cooking, place it in a large glass mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup of browned almonds, set rest aside. Add rest of ingredients. Stir gently. Spread evenly in casserole dish.
- 3. Take the browned almonds and sprinkle atop. Sprinkle paprika on top. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
