"I quickly came up with this barbecued burger recipe using pork sausage when I ran out of ground beef on night," pens Dixie Terry of Goreville, Illinois. "It's one of our grandkids' favorites, and my husband likes it, too."

I'm not a big fan of sloppy joes, but these were actually really good. The sausage adds a nice flavor.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my sloppy joes turned out watery. What did I do wrong?

These sloppy joes were a disappointment. The sauce was bland and the sausage was dry.

The sloppy joes were good, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. I would reduce the amount of brown sugar next time.

The sausage sloppy joes were a bit too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved them. Next time, I'll use less cayenne pepper.

My kids loved these sloppy joes! They are now a regular in our dinner rotation.

These sloppy joes were easy to make and turned out great! I used ground turkey instead of sausage, and they were still delicious.

I've made sloppy joes many times before, but this recipe is by far the best. The sausage adds a delicious smoky flavor, and the sauce is perfectly tangy and sweet.

These sausage sloppy joes were a hit with my family! The flavors were spot-on, and the sauce was nice and thick. I will definitely be making these again.
