Sausage Casserole For Two image

MY MOTHER'S FAMILY was of German descent and enjoyed sausages and frankfurters. This recipe was one of their favorites. I don't know if Mother made up this recipe or if it was handed down to her, but it's scrumptious and can be made in portions small enough to satisfy two people. -Kathryn Curtis, Lakeport, California

I didn't have any cream of celery soup so I used cream of mushroom soup instead. It turned out great!

This casserole was way too salty for me. I had to rinse the sausage before cooking it and I still found it to be too salty.

This casserole was a little bland for my taste. I added some extra salt and pepper and it was much better.

I'm not a big fan of sausage, but I really enjoyed this casserole. The flavors were well-balanced and the sausage wasn't overpowering.
