These are another of my favorite cookies and the recipe was given to me by a neighbor many years ago.

Steps:
- 1. Turn on oven at 350* cream shortening, brown sugar and eggs.
- 2. Mix dry ingredients together and add alternating with milk. Add oatmeal, raisins and nuts. Mix well
- 3. Using an ice cream scoop or spoon drop cookies on cookie sheet pan. Bake for 14 min or until done. Don't over cook.
