I was looking for a pizza sauce for making a reuben pizza. All of the ones on line had thousand island dressing for the sauce but I don't like this. Steps:
- 1. melt butter and oil
- 2. add garlic and sautee about 30 seconds
- 3. turn heat down to medium low and add rest of ingredients except parmesan cheese.
- 4. Stir till thickened remove from heat and add cheese. at first it will look thin but sauce thickens as it cools.
- 5. Put the sauce on crust. Then put sauerkrat on sauce then meat and then cheese. If using more caraway seeds put on top of sauce. then mix cheese together and top. Bake 20-25 minutes or until done.
