Recipe for Time after Time. ( breakfast )

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 c whole wheat flour
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c powdereed milk
1/4 c wheat germ
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 c raisins
1/2 c nusalted sunflower seeds
2 eggs
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c dark molasses
1/3 c peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, powder milk, wheat germ, and baking powder. Stir in raisins and sunflower seeds.
  • 2. Combine eggs, oil, molasses, and peanut butter
  • 3. Add to dry ingredients, blinding well.
  • 4. Spread in a 9 inch cake pan.
  • 5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until browned and firm to the touch.
  • 6. Let cool completely.
  • 7. Cut into 24 bars.
  • 8. Bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
