Peachy Keen Custard image

My recipe posted in the Nevada's Best Cookbook.

Number Of Ingredients 14

2 1/3 c bisquick mix
1/2 c milk
3 Tbsp lightly brown sugar
3 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp almond extract
1/4 c finely ground almonds
3 Tbsp peach juice, reserved juice
16 oz can sliced peaches, drained reserve juice
1/4 c granulated sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
3/4 c dairy sour cream
1 large egg

Steps:

  • 1. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.Heat oven to 375^. Combine the first 8 ingredients, and mix to blend. Spread in prepared pan; arrange peach slices on top to overlap and cover top. Mix together cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over peach slices. Mix together sour cream, egg and nutmeg; drizzle over top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
