I'm not sure what went wrong with this recipe, but it was the worst fried chicken I've ever had.

This recipe was a complete disaster. The chicken was burnt and the Monterey sauce was curdled.

I would not recommend this recipe. The chicken was tough and the Monterey sauce was bland.

I found that the chicken took longer to cook than the recipe said. I had to add an extra 10 minutes to the cooking time.

The chicken was a little dry, but the Monterey sauce helped to make up for it.

This chicken was a little too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved it. I will definitely make it again, but I'll use less cayenne pepper next time.

The Monterey sauce is what really makes this dish special. It's tangy and flavorful and it pairs perfectly with the crispy chicken.
