Oregon Blackberry Bar-B-Q Sauce image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 cups ripe blackberries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup clover honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup minced ginger
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Tabasco

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients in a food processor till smooth. Heat in saucepan till slightly thickened. Mop on chicken or salmon during last few minutes of grilling. Pass extra sauce for dipping.
