Great recipe for when you need a lot of cookies for picnics, potlucks, family reunions, Christmas....

Number Of Ingredients 14

1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1 cup rolled oats
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well blended.
  • Drop on greased cookie sheets and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
