No Peek Stew image

This recipe is a no hassle formula. No browning the meat, just cut up your ingredients, mix together, bake and serve. This is great for those who don't have much time to fuss in the kitchen. This recipe is also great with elk meat or venison.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 lbs stew meat
4 large potatoes, cubed
8 carrots, cut
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 slice dry bread, crumbled
1 (28 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons instant tapioca pudding mix

Steps:

  • Mix all and put in a large casserole dish or Dutch oven.
  • Cover slightly.
  • Bake at 250 for 5 hours.
  • DO NOT UNCOVER!
