I helped a friend move and let this cook while we were unpacking her kitchen, etc. It was easy to travel with and the hungry movers gobbled it up!

1 (3 -4 lb) pork butt
1 (28 ounce) can shredded sauerkraut
1 (16 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Place butt in crock pot and pour kraut with juice over butt.
  • Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.
  • Pour off excess liquid and stir in BBQ sauce.
  • Serve on buns.
