Number Of Ingredients 7

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 pound green beans, trimmed
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 teaspoons white miso paste
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 cup packed watercress, torn into pieces

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover watercress. I had some leftover from a salad and I didn't want to waste it. This dish was a great way to use it up.

This recipe was a bit too salty for my taste. I think I'll try using less miso next time.

I tried this recipe last night and it was a disaster. The watercress was too bitter and the miso was too salty. I ended up throwing the whole thing away.
