Mascarpone Cheesecake with Balsamic Strawberries image

This is the best cheesecake I have ever made or eaten! I think the mascarpone is key and the balsamic strawberries is a must. It elevates this cheesecake to a different level. Recipe is from Wente Vineyards Restaurant in Livermore, California.

I had some trouble getting the cheesecake to set properly. I think I may have overbeaten the cream cheese. The flavor was still good, but the texture was a bit off.

This cheesecake was a bit too tart for my taste. I think I would have preferred a cheesecake with a sweeter filling. The crust was also a bit too crumbly for my liking.

This cheesecake was a bit too rich for my taste, but it was still very good. The mascarpone cheese made it very creamy and decadent. I think I would prefer a cheesecake with a lighter filling next time.

I was a bit skeptical about the balsamic strawberries, but they really do add a unique and delicious flavor to this cheesecake. The cheesecake itself is also very creamy and smooth. Overall, I'm very happy with this recipe.
