Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 egg, beaten
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c self rising flour
1 tsp maple flavoring
1 c walnuts, chopped
1/2 c raisins

Steps:

  • 1. Combine egg and sugar, beating well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan; cut into bars or squares.
  • 2. Carolyn's Notes: I used my electric hand mixer seeing that everything had to be "mixed well". If you do not have Maple Flavoring, use 1 tsp of Maple Syrup and 1 tst of Vanilla. Worked for me the first time I made it. Wow, are these ever delicious and I will post a picture the next time I make them. From the kitchen of Carolyn, the Crafty Gourmet
