Maple Pecan Pork Chops image

I haven't tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Schwan's. The recipe says to serve with Schwan's garlic red skinned mashed potatoes.

4 frozen boneless pork loin chops, thawed (recommends Schwan's chops)
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup sliced onion
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon ground sage

Steps:

  • Saute pork chops in oil over medium high heat for 6-8 minutes on each side. Add onion and cook an additional 4-6 minutes.
  • Mix together syrup, soy sauce, pecans, sage and pour over chops.
  • Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Place cooked pork chops on top of hot prepared potatoes. Drizzle with sweet soy sauce and serve.
