Low-Country Barbecue Sauce (Mustard Based) image

Mustard-based sauce is a South Carolina specialty. I really love this on slow cooked pulled pork, cooked on the grill over indirect heat or cooked in a smoker.

I found this sauce to be a bit too thin. I would have liked it to be thicker and more syrupy.

This sauce is a little too sweet for my taste. I would have preferred a more savory flavor.

I'm not a big fan of mustard, but I really enjoyed this sauce. The mustard flavor is subtle and doesn't overpower the other flavors.
