Linguica Bread image

Linguica is a form of Portuguese smoke cured pork sausage seasoned with garlic and paprika. It can be found in speciality markets or online at such sites as: Gasparssausage.com or chourico.com love these. When I get back East to visit, I usually get one of these at a local Portuguese bakery in Fall River, MA. A great snack!

I substituted the linguica for chorizo and it turned out great! The bread was moist and flavorful, and the chorizo gave it a nice spicy kick.

The bread was a bit dry for my taste, but the flavor was still good. I think I'll add a little more butter or oil next time.
