Lime Jello Salad image

This was something that my Mother made on holidays. It's light and refreshing and very easy. Its a recipe that has been around forever, it seems.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 small container cottage cheese (small curd)
1 small box lime jello
1 6 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
1 small (8 oz) container whipped topping
1/2 c chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, mix the cottage cheese and the lime jello (dry).
  • 2. Add the drained, crushed pineapple and nuts.
  • 3. Fold in the whipped topping.
  • 4. Pour into your favorite serving dish and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
