Joel's Sweet Sour Dressing image

This salad dressing was a gift from Joel Erlich who featured it as a house dressing in all of his restaurants in California.

Yield 1 cup

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 tablespoons wine vinegar
4 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon garlic, Minced
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon coriander, Dried
1/2 teaspoon basil, Dried
1 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Combine the ingredients in a screw-top jar.
  • Cover tightly.
  • Shake well.
  • Chill.
  • Shake again before serving.

This dressing is a bit too runny for my taste. I would add a bit more cornstarch next time.
