Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400F In a medium sauce pan, brown sausages (still in casings) until no long pink. Slice in half length wise and set aside. Brown ground beef, onions, green peppers, garlic and mushrooms until meat is throughly cooked, drain. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (if using canned tomatoes, drain them prior to adding them to the pan) and Italian seasonings, bring to a simmer until tomatoes soften slightly, stirring occasionally. Cut top of French loaf off in a "V" shape, line the sides with sliced sausages. Place with Meat/tomato mixture on top of sausages. Top with freshly sliced Mozzerella. Wrap entire loaf in foil and bake for 20 minutes, uncover top, so that cheese is exposed, and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Slice and serve
