I used a variety of mushrooms, including white, brown, and cremini. They all worked well in this recipe.

I added a little bit of garlic powder and onion powder to the sausage mixture. It gave the mushrooms a more flavorful taste.

I didn't have any bread crumbs on hand, so I used crushed crackers instead. They worked just as well.

The mushrooms were a bit overcooked. I think I'll cook them for a shorter amount of time next time.

I thought the sausage was a bit too spicy for my taste. I think I'll use a milder sausage next time.

The recipe was easy to follow, but the mushrooms didn't turn out as flavorful as I expected.

I found that the mushrooms were a bit dry. I think next time I'll add a little bit of butter or olive oil to the pan before cooking them.

I've made this recipe gluten-free by using gluten-free bread crumbs. They turned out just as good as the regular version.

I love that this recipe can be made ahead of time. I usually make them the day before and then just reheat them in the oven before serving.
