ITALIAN LONG GREEN BEANS & PASTA, ROSEMARIE P. image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 (14.5 oz) cans of Contadina® Stewed Tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can of Contadina® Tomato Sauce
1 lb of long Italian green beans
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
6 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1 lb of linguine

Steps:

  • 1. Remove ends of green beans and wash. Cut into threes. 2. Take cans of stewed tomatoes and break up into chunks. 3. Dice garlic fine. 4. Sauté garlic in olive oil. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste. 5. After mixture comes to a boil, add long green beans. Cook until tender (about 15-20 minutes). 6. In the meantime bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook to taste. 7. Drain pasta and add some liquid into the pasta and plate pasta and put long green beans and sauce over pasta.
