Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350. Boil egg noodles until soft, then drain. Brown ground beef/diced garlic/onion, drain grease, then add tomato sauce and sugar, bring to a boil, then remove from heat. In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese and onion. In a 9x13 pan laer 1/2 of the egg noodles, then layer the cheese mixture (spread out as evenly as possible). Layer the other half of the egg noodles over that. Then layer the ground beef mixture. Top with shredded cheese, cover with foil and put in oven. Bake for 1 hour. At 45 minutes, remove foil. At 60 minutes, remove from oven and let sit 10 minutes. Cut and serve with salad and garlic bread.
