Horsey Ham Casserole image

It's not what you think! The "horsey" in this recipe is horseradish. When I was young, my mom would make this maybe twice a year, mostly for potlucks and family gatherings, and it was always (and still is) one of my favorite foods. I RECOMMEND CUTTING THIS RECIPE IN HALF! As it is written here, it makes about 20 servings, but it CAN BE FROZEN. So, if you don't halve it, you can at least freeze half of the finished product and save it for a couple weeks later.

I'm not a huge fan of ham, but this casserole changed my mind. It was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice.
