HACKETT'S INFAMOUS SPINACH DIP image

Yield Double recipe for large groups

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 dashes onion salt (optional)
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbl lemon juice
1 Tbl Salad Supreme seasoning
1 tsp fresh dill weed

Steps:

  • Cook frozen chopped spinach until thoroughly cooked. Chop spring onions and add them to cooking spinach - add a couple of dashes of onion salt to the pan (optional). Drain spinach thoroughly, put mixture in bowl. Add next four ingredients and mix well. Chop dill weed and sprinkle over top of mixture. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Sprinkle with fresh dill on top of spinach dip when ready to serve. Good for up to four days if refrigerated.
