Green Chili Alfredo image

This is a southwest twist on this Italian favorite. 11/19/13

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 lb butter
1/2 c parmesan cheese
1 can(s) roasted green chilis
1/3 c your favorite hot sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp chicken base
21/2 c milk
21/2 c heavy cream
11/4 c half and half
1/4 c roux to thicken

Steps:

  • 1. Bring all ingredients ( except chicken base and parmesan cheese. ) Bring to a boil mixing well, then simmer until smooth.
  • 2. Add chicken base and parmesan cheese mix well.
