2 1/2 teaspoons chopped garlic
1/2 pound lean, boneless pork loin, diced
1/2 cup drained hominy (or drained canned corn)
1/2 cup diced green poblano pepper

2 teaspoons cumin seeds
2 teaspoons dark chili powder
2 3/4 cups chicken stock
1 teaspoon ground coriander (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Add pork; cook, stirring, until meat is browned on the outside, 10 minutes. Add hominy, poblanos, tomatillos, cumin, chili powder, stock and coriander, if desired; season with salt and pepper. Cover; simmer until pork is tender and white, 45 minutes. Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon cilantro; serve.

This recipe was a waste of time. The pozole was watery and the pork was tough.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my pozole turned out bland. I followed the recipe exactly, but it just didn't have much flavor.

This dish was a bit too spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. The pork was tender and the broth was flavorful.

The pozole was good, but I found it to be a bit too salty. I would recommend using less salt next time.

I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but this pozole was just the right amount of heat. The hominy and pork were cooked perfectly and the broth was flavorful.
