Golden Pecan Pie image

Number Of Ingredients 10

CRUST
1 refrigerated pie shell (from 15-ounce package) or Pastry for One-Crust Pie recipe in Desserts, Cakes & Pies
FILLING
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups pecans, halves or broken pecans
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare pie crust for one-crust filled pie using 9-inch pie pan.2. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, corn syrup, vanilla and eggs beat well. Stir in pecans and margarine. Pour into crust-lined pan.3. Bake at 375°F. for 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is puffed and pie is golden brown. Cool 2 hours or until completely cooled.
